Members of the COVID-19 Taskforce in Rumuigbo, Rivers State has on Wednesday, May 20, intercepted another trailer loaded with building materials and also smuggling people into the State.
The interception was aided by the collective effort of NYCN, Ijaw Youths and residents of the area.

Speaking about the development at the scene, Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Council, Prince Solomon Eke, called on residents of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area to remain vigilant and quickly report or share information, should they notice any strange movement in their neighborhood.
The violators, when further interrogated by members of the taskforce, claimed that they had had to pay N6,000 to gain entry.
After close scrutiny at the document, it showed the document was falsified as the Governor's signature was scanned.
