According to reports, the former presidential candidate was in his home, when the thugs attacked, manhandling him and making away with a “substantial” amount of money and valuables.

It was gathered that the offenders were two in number, who had overwhelmed him and left him with bruises here and there.
According to an eyewitness report; “This was a nasty incident where Sowore home was targeted with physical force used by the offenders and a substantial amount of money and valuable items were stolen.
“The offenders were two males and their age approximation is unknown at the time.”
