Delta State Commisioner For Information, SSG Test Positive For Coronavirus

According to reports, Delta State Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Chiedu Ebie and the State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, have both tested positive for Coronavirus.

Confirming the development, the State government took to its official Twitter page on Sunday, June 21, to reveal that they have been moved to the isolation center.

It was also confirmed that 83 new cases of the infection were on Saturday recorded by the State.

“So far, the State has recorded 501 confirmed cases and 19 deaths. “The Secretary to the State Government of Delta State, Mr. Chiedu Ebie and the Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, have tested positive for #COVID19.

“Both officials exhibited mild symptoms of the virus and consequently subjected themselves to the #COVID19 test.

They have been moved to an isolation centre, are stable, and responding well to treatment.”
