NSCDC Nabs 10 Oil Thieves, Seizes Trucks Filled With Diesel In Rivers (Photos)

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has arrested ten (10) suspected oil thieves and seized four trucks filled with adulterated diesel in Port Harcourt and other parts of Rivers State.

Muktar Lawal, the Commandant, NSCDC, Rivers State, disclosed this to newsmen while parading the suspects in Port Harcourt.

According to him, the arrests were made in different parts of local government areas of the state.

Also displaying some of the seized “Exhibits” at the command headquarters the commandant disclosed that one of the trucks was conveying fertilizer, but the AGO was concealed underneath.

Muktar Lawal urged members of the public to report any strange movement or illegal activities, as the command would not relent in the fight against the destruction of essential national properties and infrastructure in the State.

Commandant Muktar added that the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations carried out are being completed.
