Leader of Greenlanders Cult Group and notorious kidnapper, h Honest Digbara, popularly known as Boboski has died
hours after he was arrested by the Rivers state Police command.

Boboski was arrested alive early on Saturday morning at Korokoro in the Tai Local Government Area in a sting operation led by the Divisional Police Officer of Bori, Superintendent Bako Angbashim.

He however sustained multiple gunshot injuries and machete wounds during an alleged gun battle with security agents. He was said to have succumbed to the various degrees of injuries he received.

Speaking after the arrest, the state police commissioner, Joseph Mukan, said;

“He was arrested through credible information at Korokoro Community in Tai LGA where he was hibernating with his gang of killers.”

It was gathered that he was attending a funeral when policemen and vigilantes acting on a tip-off, stormed the area but on sighting them, he opened fire leading to a gun battle which claimed the life of his younger brother said to be his second-in-command, on the spot.


The deceased had reportedly terrorized residents in Ogoni community for a long time. His criminal activities were so deadly, the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike placed a N30m bounty on him.
