Tension As 2 FUTO Students Die Under Mysterious Circumstances (Graphic Photos)

Palpable tension has gripped students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), as two 200 level students were found dead in their room, and one other was still alive but unconscious.

The terrible incident happened on Friday, March 5 at a lodge in Eziobodo community, in Owerri, Imo State.

The three students, all studying civil engineering in the varsity had just resumed from the long ASUU strike and were writing their first semester exams.

According to sources, the three roommates were found lying down motionless late on Friday morning. Two of the roommates identified only as Kodak and Steve, were already dead and had white foamy substances coming out from their nostrils. The only one surviving, whom sources called Fred, was quickly rushed to a hospital but is still unconscious.

As at the time of filing this report, the cause of the deaths is still unknown.

Some people however asserted that it maybe due to carbon monoxide poisoning, as the deceased students had white foam in their noses characteristic of that kind of poisoning.
