Angry Mob Places Petty Thief On A Highway For Cars To Crush (Video)

There was palpable tension along Agagu Road, Akure, the Ondo State Capital, as an angry mob nearly lynched an alleged petty thief by the roadside, Nicolekaima’s blog reports.

According to information gathered, an unidentified man in his late twenties, was caught on Thursday, November 18, at about 9:00am trying to steal an unnamed item.

As soon as he was caught, a mob gathered and pounced on him, beating him black and blue. The petty thief was then stripped naked and dragged onto the middle of the road.

Sources say, the intention of some people who were part of the mob was to leave him on the road for an oncoming vehicle to crush to death.

However, after much pleading and persuasion from some onlookers in the gathering, they took pity on him and allowed him to go to a pharmacy for treatment.
