The former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
It would be recalled that the former aviation minister had left his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in September 2021. According to reports from Punch, Fani-Kayode was arrested and is being held at the Lagos Zonal Office of the anti-graft agency under an open investigation for alleged manipulation and forgery of documents.

Confirming Fani-Kayode’s arrest, Wilson Uwujaren, spokesman of EFCC, when contacted, said; “I think something like that happened.”
