Eniola Wasn't As Slim As Her Photos Portrayed— Alleged Reason Why Funke Akindele Didn't Attend Her Party

It's no longer news that Nollywood Actress, Eniola Badmus celebrated her 20th anniversary in Nollywood on Thursday, December 9.

The event has been in the news headlines for so many reasons, one of which is the fact that Eniola Badmus, didn't turn out to be as slim as the pictures she posted prior to the event, portrayed.

Another reason why the internet has been buzzing is because, Eniola’s friend and colleague, Funke Akindele, creator of the popular sitcom, Jenifa’s Diary, was absent from the event.

Lots of speculations have been going around following Funke’s absence from her bestie’s much anticipated party, which Funke had helped advertise over the weeks.

An Instagram blogger has however revealed the alleged reason why Funke did not attend.

According to the blogger, it had to do with the plus-size actress posting edited pictures to make herself look slimmer. Although Eniola had undergone some surgical procedures, she didn't get the result she wanted, so she settled for editing.

The blogger wrote;

So apparently when Sister Badoski was preparing to break the internet with her slim things pictures.

“She showed some to Funke. Funke advised that the pictures were nice o but editing con be too much before people will see Eniola in person and start talking.

Not knowing this did not go down well with Eniola so she mentioned it to some few friends who went back to Funke and gossiped that Eniola is saying Na only Funke wan shine all the time.

Typical Funke, she won’t ask you anything o, she just advised herself jeje.

But in all fairness, I don’t think either of them meant any harm.. na world people want to create problem where there is none.

It's not clear if this was the reason why Funke didn't show up for the party, but the actress had made a video earlier on Thursday, congratulating Eniola Badmus, probably because she didn't plan on doing it in person at the event.
