Father Mbaka Reacts To Viral Video Of His Burning Church

Following reports suggesting that the Catholic Adoration Ground Enugu, overseen by Rev Fr. Ejike Mbaka was burnt down by protesting youths, the church has said the reports are false.

Mbaka’s spokesman, Mr Maximus Ugwoke, told Vanguard that the story and video making the rounds on social media were not true and should be disregarded.

Ugwoke said he suspected that the story emanated from an online media practitioner based in Enugu, whom he said has written a rebuttal and asked people to ignore the mischief.

Ugwoke also promised to make an official statement on the development after consulting with Mbaka.
