It was gathered that the abduction of Oyiza, who is a student of Ambrose Aliu University, was perpetrated by some fulani herdsmen in Okene.

According to her friend who took to her twitter page to solicit for help, the family have reached out to the kidnappers who were demanding the sum of N100million for her release.
They also threatened to kill her if their demand was not met.
This was revealed by the herdsmen via a whatsapp audio chat sent from the kidnappers demanding the huge amount of ransom.
