It is not clear what the driver did to attract such severe punishment, but he was made to lie with his stomach on the ground, while the soldiers wielding large sticks, trashed his back.

According to the source who made the video available, it seemed the man was being flogged for defaulting the 24hrs curfew imposed in Jos. He noted that it was degrading to treat a full grown man like that, no matter his offence.
He wrote;
“This is absolutely unfair and a violation of human right, what gives them the right to brutalize a citizen in a manner so degrading?”
