432 Suspected Cultists Nabbed In Ogun



Men of the Nigeria Police Force, Ogun State command have arrested at least 432 suspected cultists within the state, in the past year.

The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, revealed this on Tuesday, November 24, during an anti-cultism campaign in Abeokuta. 

The police commissioner disclosed that most of the arrested suspects were members of the Aiye and Eiye confraternities.

According to him, the suspected cultists have since been prosecuted by the police.
Edward Ajogun expressed worries that cultism is spreading among students, even among those elementary/ primary schools.

Ajogun however, reiterated that the police will clamp down on cultists and their deadly activities in order to maintain peace in Ogun State.
