Recall we reported that NIS had on Monday, November 2, prevented Modupe from traveling at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos while she was about to board a plane to the Maldives to celebrate her birthday.

It was learnt that the officers did not disclose the reason for intercepting her but she had seen parts of a document in their computer which revealed she was under a watch list because of her alleged role in the #EndSARS protests.
The lawyer was asked to come for her passport on Friday but was unable to make it.
However, Modupe tweeted on Monday, November 9 that her passport has been returned to her.
She wrote;
“Getting my passport back took an entire village. No way I can mention everyone one after the other but please know I’m very grateful ❤️.

“Passport now picked up. No issues. I’m told I can travel at any time. Thank you so much everyone for the help and concern.”
