President Buhari celebrated his 78th birthday on Thursday, December 17, with a gigantic white and gold coloured customized cake.

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri took to his social media pages to share photos of Buhari’s cake as he wrote a long epistle, condemning Buhari for celebrating while insecurity is increasing in Nigeria.
Nigerians have however taken to social media to mock Buhari’s administration over the loans and exorbitant expenses made on inconsequential things.
According to some Instagram users, the birthday cake may be announced to have cost millions of naira, just as when a minister announced 81 million naira for clearing grass in the Abuja stadium or the most recent case, where petroleum ministry spent N116 million on pens.

Some others said they would soon say they collected loan for the cake, while the rest bashed Buhari generally for celebrating at all.
