According to reports gathered, the tragic incident happened along Nnebisi Road, Asaba, on Monday, January 18.

The deceased technician was a staff of Abba Solar & Digital Tech Ltd, and was said to have been hired for his services by a contractor to the Asaba Capital Territory Development Agency on beautification.
Confirming the incident, Jaja’s colleague, who spoke to newsmen revealed that, Jaja was disconnecting the decorations when one of the wires on the street light poles suddenly snapped, touched the ladder he was standing on and electrocuted him. He was said to have died instantly.
