caused apprehension when Kano hit a scary landmark with over 100 deaths.

People were said to have been buried within four days which is contrary to the number of death interred at various Kano cemeteries.

However, Abdullahi Ganduje, the Governor of Kano State, refuted reports that mass burials were carried out in the state for an unusual illness, saying only one death from COVID-19 had been confirmed in the state.
