Several social media users have come online to express shock at the death of the movie icon who is popular for playing the role of an elder.

The Imo state actor was said to have died after he complained of body pains shortly before his demise which occurred at 12pm, Saturday, January 9, 2020.
This is coming a barely two days after the Nigerian film industry was thrown into shock over the death of Nollywood actress, Folake Aremu, and her older brother, Steve Onishola who died on January 6th and 7th respectively.
The report of Aremu’s demise made the rounds on social media on January 6, however, the cause of her death was not revealed but it was said that she had died during the night.
